The Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev has held a meeting of Operational headquarters for monitoring the situation of socially significant agricultural products and food. In its work took part the representatives of the Federation Council of the Federal authorities, Supervisory bodies, financial organizations, industrial unions and associations, as well as the interior Ministry and Regardie. The participants of the meeting jointly discussed the situation in the domestic food market and in General in agriculture.
Dmitry Patrushev noted that the current mode of working days does not apply to organizations providing the population with food and essential goods, but also to the enterprises of the continuous cycle. These include how the organization of agro industrial complex and related industries, which can continue its work. In addition, the subjects of the Russian Federation in its decision may expand the list of socially important goods, and to identify organizations that can work in a given period.
According to the Minister, the primary responsibility is to ensure food security, so the industry must operate uninterruptedly, and sowing campaign is carried out in a regular mode. However, as stated by Dmitry Patrushev, in particular regions receives signals about the complexities in movement of transport with the load, necessary for stable functioning of agriculture – including fertilizers, seeds, spare parts and finished products. Given the possible risks associated with the excessive bureaucratization of the logistics processes, the Minister urged the heads of the APK to take under personal control a situation with the traffic and, if necessary, inform the Ministry of agriculture, Ministry of industry and trade and oversight bodies, and representatives of the interior Ministry of Russia and Regardie is to help the agricultural sector to ensure smooth operation.
Also Dmitry Patrushev pointed to the need to support farmers by regional authorities in the marketing of agricultural products, including through retailers.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister recalled the need to constantly monitor timeliness of payment of salaries to employees of agricultural enterprises and recommended to estimate the additional staff requirements – including for seasonal field work.
